Any particular highlights from the past year? Hours over the chef’s head, meeting so many amazing people, trying new things, eating out more…

2015 began with a road trip through North America, Europe and Asia, the epic journey having begun some 3,000 years ago when the canoe-driving Peruvian, Pedro, got lost and ended in the American West. The two world trips have since combined to form the genesis of the new Instagram brand, “The Odyssey of a Food Art Lover.”

On the first one, we spent two days in Alaska, climbing poles, catching up on old grudges, and watching people get brownie points from tourists and endangered species. On the second one we were blown away by the variety, fame and success of a tiny restaurant in Hoboken, New Jersey soon to be followed by a multi-million dollar restaurant in New York that we both ate at.

We’ve been jazz cats for over 25 years now, have built a company in Frankfurt that is more than 34 years old and have numerous international clients, Champions, ESPN, Barclays, Tinder, Coca-Cola and Etsy.

We are very happy and honoured to join such elite clients. Manhattan is such an exceptional place, with so much history and synergy between our two families. We are also very happy to welcome the kids, Willem and Louise, from Cross and Van, into our home. We will do our best to meet their expectations, and fulfil their dreams!
